¶ Mental/Physical Focus
In the Glyndane Library you will find a ward. See below:
A Crystal Sanctuary
A crystal throne sits majestically before you, facing the wonders of
this lake. The throne itself is carved and etched with runes and a soft
blue light emanates from it. Blue flames burn heatlessly on either side
of the throne, flickering within their braziers. A feeling of power
and magic is strong here, as though a focal point of some kind.
[Exits: south]
(Holy Aura) An entity of complete focus is here, outlined in blue flames.
You say, 'Bring me yet closer to absolute focus, great ward.'
¶ Monk Final Skill Quests
Each monk class has a unique final skill that is taught after you've obtained your black belt.
The skills are:
Crane - Chi Healing
Dragon - Dragon Spirit
Mantis - Blind Fighting
Snake - Dim-Mak
Tiger - Eye of the Tiger
To obtain the skill you must have your black belt (see help promote in game for details).
¶ Rangers Blend Tea
Alignment: All (Evils will receive negative experience for completing this quest)
Start: Mayor of Elvenhame
Destination: Plains of Io (Northwest of Circle of Oaks, Southern Continent)
Level Range: 40+ Recommended
Items Wanted: Rangers Blend Tea
Reward: 12000 exp
The mayor in Elvenhame gives this quest at just about every level. Every alignment can receive this quest, but only those who are good or neutral will benefit from completing this quest.
The tea plantation is located north Circle of Oaks in the Rolling Plains of Phi. (You can note the change in the area by typing where). From the Plains of Phi you will want to head northwest and up looking for the ledge. On the Ledge you will find a door leading west. (Keep trying to open west as you move on the ledge.
Once inside the Plantation head to the tea vendor. Purchase one package of each blend of tea This will be one black, one red, and TWO green.
Next you will find this tea blender: A blond haired man is mixing different blends of tea to create new blends.
Give him one of each color of tea.
He will mix you a package of grey blend tea.
Now you need to find this tea blender: A brown haired man is mixing different blends of tea to create new blends.
Note: ORDER is very important here.
You give him the packet of green tea first.
Then hand him the grey packet.
He will blend these two into rangers blend tea.
The brewer is the next stop.
Give him the packet of rangers blend tea.
From that he will brew a flagon of rangers tea.
Finally make the trip back to Elvenhame where you give the tea to the mayor.
QUEST RECOMMENDATION: Save this quest for your final ranks.
Evils can complete this quest but I they need to either pour the tea out in front of the mayor or sacrifice it in front of the mayor.
¶ Void Sage
Alignment: All
Destination: The Plane of Higher Elements (North of Glyndane into the Holy Grove, then Up)
Level Range: 30-40
Enter the rift in the Null Zone room, the Void Sage will initiate the quest.
One essence of each type of elemental, starting with the weakest will be required.
This will repeat for all 3 tiers of elemental
Drop rate on the essence is low, and may require multiple clears.
Bring each to the Sage as according to the quest. They will crumble.
Note: Flight is required to enter the section of the area with the various air elementals.
Crusaders or those planning to be, that do not possess racial flight cannot complete this quest.
¶ Honoring Love
Alignment: All
Start: Glyndane: Dirt Path in the Park: A grey elven nobleman
Level Range: 40+ Recommended
Items Wanted: Love Tokens
Reward: 1000 exp per token
The nobleman is located in the Glyndane Park, west of the Ranger's Guild.
He will talk for a bit and give you a small golden medallion.
You must seek out all the listed mobs and give the medallion to them.
They will then give a speech and return the medallion along with a token of love.
Give the tokens of love back to the nobleman. He will give some experience for each one.
Below is the list of tokens and their location (this is given to you at the start of the quest).

¶ Kobold Heads
Alignment: All
Start: Glyndane: Guildmasters
Destination: The Kobold Tunnels (North of Glyndane)
Level Range: 10+ Recommended
Items Wanted: Kobold Heads
Reward: 1200 exp and 5 gold
Your guildmaster will ask you to collect 5 Kobold Heads.
The color of Kobold Heads you must collect depends on your Alignment.
To get to The Kobold Tunnels
- Go all North from Glyndane into the Holy Grove
- Go down in the Holy Grove
The heads drop from the Kobolds.
This area also contains some decent starting weapons and armor.
QUEST RECOMMENDATION: Many players skip this quest due to the low reward.
¶ Ancient Book of Warfare
Alignment: All (Except Paladins)
Start: Glyndane: Guildmasters
Destination: The Grove of Despair (North of Tyr-Zinet)
Level Range: 10-15 Recommended
Items Wanted: page 1-5 from the Ancient Book of Warfare
Reward: 18000 experience (1600 per page + 10k for completion) and 2000 gold
Your Glyndane guildmaster will ask you to collect all five pages from the Book of Warfare.
All classes except Paladin can complete this quest.
To get to the Grove of Despair
- Go North from Glyndane to the Eastern Road
- Go East along the Eastern Road until you get to Tyr-Zinet
- Go East through Tyr-Zinet until you hit the Fisherman's Lament
- Follow the path North until you get to the Grove of Despair
The pages drop from the mobs in the Grove.
You must collect all five pages to complete the quest:

page four from the Ancient Book of Warfare
page five from the Ancient Book of WarfareOnce you've collected all five pages, return to your guildmaster in Glyndane and give them the pages.
The order in which you return the pages does not matter.
NOTE: Beware when traveling North in the Grove of Despair. There is a deadly pair of Death Knights leading into another area.
¶ An Orb of Power
Alignment: Evil/Neutral
Start: New Ethshar: Guildmasters
Destination: Emerald Forest (South of New Ethshar)
Level Range: 10-15 Recommended
Items Wanted: white, black, red, blue, and green shards from the orb of power; nymph heart
Reward: 18000 experience (1600 per shard + 10k for completion) and 2000 gold
The New Ethshar guildmaster will ask you to collect all five shards from the orb of power along with a nymph heart.
To get to the Emerald Forest
- Go south from New Ethshar until you get into Miden'nir
- Once you are in Miden'nir, go South, West, South, then Open West and go West into Emerald Forest
The pages drop from the pixies, brownies, and sprites. (difficulty is in the order listed, pixies are the easier)
You must collect all five shards:
(Glowing) (Humming) a white shard from the orb of power
(Glowing) (Humming) a green shard from the orb of power
(Glowing) (Humming) a red shard from the orb of power
(Glowing) (Humming) a black shard from the orb of power
(Glowing) (Humming) a blue shard from the orb of powerYou must also collect the heart of a nymph. This item is much more difficult to collect than the shards.
You must go to The Altar of Sacrifice in the dangerous part of Emerald Forest then:
open altarget heart altar
The Devil's Huntsman and Hellhounds in the area are VERY DANGEROUS.
You can ask another player for help, or quaff a purple potion to make this part easier.
Once you've collected all five shards and the heart, return to your guildmaster in New Ethshar and give them the shards followed by the heart.
¶ Blaine's Riddle
Alignment: All
Start: Elvenhame
Level Range: 30-45
Reward: 10000 experience and 5000 gold
Blaine in Elvenhame gives this quest from levels 30-45. He is in The Back Room, South of the Tavern.
He gives multiple quests, and you must leave and return several times until you get the right quest. This particular quest is # 8746.
He will give a riddle which you must answer.
A strange thing hangs by a man's thigh, hidden by a garment.
It has a hole in its head.
It is stiff and strong, and its firm bearing reaps a reward.
When the man hitches his clothing high above his knee,
he wants the head of that hanging thing to poke the old hole
(of fitting length) it has often filled before.Click for Spoiler
The answer is key, you must say it aloud.
After saying the answer, he will ask you to bring him one.
You can walk to Raven Theater and get one from the Desk in the Director's Office
¶ Father Myles' Request
Alignment: All
Start: The Poorhouse: Father Myles
Level Range: 40+
Items Wanted: Ingredients for Lasagna
Reward: 72000 experience (42000 for all sub-quests and 30000 at completion)
Visit Father Myles (very top of The Poorhouse).
He will tell you there has been a lot of unrest at The Poorhouse lately.
The residents are tired of eating turkey, and he wants Beth to change up her recipe.
Go to Beth (in The Kitchen of The Poorhouse) and give her the list of grievances.
She will agree with Father Myles, it's time to change it up.
She has just the recipe in mind. Lasagna.
This quest requires a lot of ingredients, and Beth will reward you after every single item you turn in.
Make sure to hand over each ingredient and then wait for the reward before handing anything else.
First thing she needs is two large cans of tomato paste.
You can get these from The Abbey (Basilica Complex)
They are in the Kitchen and the Storeroom on the floor.
Also grab two large cans of whole tomatoes while you are here.
These are for the next step.
Make sure to grab the large cans, not the small ones.
Return to Beth and give her the two large cans of tomato paste slowly.
She will reward you for each one.
Beth will now ask for two large cans of whole tomatoes.
If you grabbed these in the last step, hand them over slowly.
Otherwise, head back to The Abbey (Basilica Complex) and grab them.
Next, Beth wants two pounds of dry lasagna noodles.
These are sold by Jim (at The General Store) in Sudharma.
You will need to buy 2x a box containing one pound of dry semolina lasagna noodles.
Return to Beth and hand them over slowly.
The next item she needs is three pounds of ricotta cheese.
These are in a coldbox in the Kitchen in The Manor east of Glyndane.
The key to The Manor is on one of the serfs near the entrance.
You will need all 3 of a covered bowl containing 1 lb. of ricotta from the coldbox.
Return to Beth and again hand them over slowly.
Next she needs three eggs from Alex (Alex's General Merchandise) in Ofcol.
Buy them and return to Beth, giving her the eggs one by one slowly.
Beth now requires a one-pound block of mozzarella cheese.
You can gather this from the Icy Waste & Frost Giant Cavern (Northeast of the Magic Forest)
It's sitting on the ground in the caves past the maze.
Go back to Beth and give her the cheese.
After this, she will send you out for some mild italian sausage.
You'll need to see De'Lyron P'Gille at The Butcher Block in Elvenhame.
After a long talk, he'll give you a link of mild Italian sausage.
Give the sausage to Beth.
The Lasagna requires more meat. Ground round to be exact.
She will give you a torn piece of paper with instructions.
Go to The Butcher's Chop in Glyndane.
Give the torn piece of paper to the assistant (the boy) NOT the butcher.
He will give you a package of ground round.
Go back to Beth and give her the package.
Finally, she can finish making the Lasagna.
She will give you a hefty reward (30000 experience) and a recipe booklet for Beth's Lasagna
You are now done with the quest and the residents of The Poorhouse will be happy!
